PRINCIPLE

Low shelter design for revegetating wider areas (eg felled conifer windbreak sites, etc) using native species. Species listed are for South Canterbury downlands and may be replaced by local endemic species for other areas.

SITE PREP

Pre-plant spot spray with 'Round-up' (Addition of dye recommended).

ESTABLISHMENT

Light sites may require large planting holes and back-filling with better soil. Mulching recommended.

STEP 1	String diagonal lines at 10m intervals. Locate the lines 6 plants at 1.8m spacing.
STEP 2	Randomly plant the remaining plants as shown using the 'diagonal' plants as a guide to location.
